Our StoryOn The Rise Tennis Academy (OTR) was founded in September 2017 by David Boyer and Dylan Sperry. We wanted to create a tennis environment that focuses on an individual's goals by having fun, supporting them at tournaments, and continually communicating with them on their needs to improve as a player.
We had a great first year and are excited to continue to grow the OTR community. We enjoy helping players become the best they can be while having a great time |
Mission StatementAt On The Rise, it is our mission to help our athletes achieve their personal tennis goals. We accomplish this by giving individual attention to our athletes during group drills, bringing in outside experts to help our players reach peak potential and supporting players throughout their tennis career.
|
Vision StatementOn The Rise has the vision to build a tennis academy where players feel genuinely supported. We want to cultivate a tennis community where players feel a team atmosphere with the coaches and players.

Teaching Philosophy
Our teaching system helps a tennis player reach their full potential. We help develop the tennis style that best fits the player. We help players gain the confidence they will need on the court through individual attention and hitting as many balls as possible in our group drills.
Repetition is vital to a player's development. The start of each lesson begins with hitting as many balls as possible to develop consistency and muscle memory. Consistency is a huge factor in determining the outcome of a match.
We keep a small number of players on each court so that players can hit more balls and so coaches can spend more individual time with each player.
Developing a playing style is vital to a player's success. Each player is an individual that has different playing styles: All - Court Player Aggressive Baseliner Counter Puncher Serve and Volley OTR drills help the coaches and player find their individual style.
